This smaller box weighs 41 grams and measures 2.8 inches by 2.1 inches. It has evidently been used much more than the other box . At the centre of the shell-motif, the engraved face which is quite clear on the larger box, has been nearly worn away, with only the collar left.This box is marked just like the larger one: it has a maker's mark and a (distorted) leopard's head erased on the lid, leopard's head erased on the flange, and full marks on the inside of the base.
