This larger box weighs 65 grams and measures 3.2 inches by 2.4 inches. There is little sign of wear to the engraving on the exterior but there are light scratchmarks on the inside. Because there is no staining of the kind associated with snuff, we conjecture that, when not in use, the smaller box was kept inside the larger one.This box is marked just like the smaller one: it has a maker's mark (distorted) and a clear leopard's head erased on the lid, leopard's head erased on the flange, and full marks on the inside of the base, though the maker's mark is incompletely punched.
